Sound Tech Crew

The Sound Tech Crew (STC) members learn how to set up and use Audio and Media Technology safely and professionally. They do everything from rolling cables and keeping the band room tidy, to helping run the sound and technology for live events at school. STC also learn how to use music software for live and recorded gigs. Ultimately they become revered by all musicians and geniuses at editing and postproduction!

STC members are difficult to identify as they are virtually invisible, however they always carry gaffa-tape, and are normally dressed in black jeans, tight black t-shirts, are amazing with technology, and tend to save the day.

STC members usually join by making themselves valuable when running events. They help ensure that everything is organised, that instruments have been taken from the music room to the performance venue, that the cables are plugged into the right places, that the performers are ready to go on and that everything works! In general, they fix any problem that comes up on the day of rehearsal or performance.
