World Music Web-Quest!!

Your mission:

1. Select 5 countries from around the world and find out about their traditional music and instruments.

2. What is the traditional music of one country that you have chosen? Use Google Search to find out the answer. One search question might be: What is the Traditional Music of _________?

3. After researching, and reading about the Traditional Music from one country, see if you can name three instruments that are used? Find a YouTube link for each instrument that you have named and share it below.

4. Find out something else interesting about the traditional music in your chosen country.

*** Repeat questions 2, 3, and 4 for each country listed as your answer in question 1.

Con trả lời câu hỏi theo cấu trúc như sau (ghi rõ các đề mục như: Question 1...)

Question 1: ghi tên 5 quốc gia mà con lựa chọn (vd: hàn quốc, trung quốc, Myanma, Anh...)

Question 2,3 (làm gộp luôn hai câu cho dễ trình bày): Nêu thể loại âm nhạc TRUYỀN THỐNG (traditional) của 5 nước đó bằng cách vào google search theo cú pháp “What is the Traditional Music of _________?” theo cấu trúc sau:

1. Tên nc (vd: Việt Nam): hát Chầu Văn - (link youtube về biểu diễn chầu văn)

- nhạc cụ trong biểu diễn chầu văn 1 (google) - link youtube về một m nhạc cụ đó

- nhạc cụ trong biểu diễn chầu văn 2 - link youtube

- nhạc cụ trong biểu diễn chầu văn 3 - link youtube

2. Tên nước ( trình bày như trên cho đến khi đủ 5 nước, mỗi nước chỉ cần chọn một loại hình truyền thống)

Question 4: câu này là những điều thú vị khác trong âm nhạc của những nước con chọn

Vd: một loại nhạc cụ lạ, cách trình diễn lạ, trang phục trình diễn lạ,...con lên google là có hết.

Bonus Task:

Reply to your classmates and tell them if they have discovered something you think is interesting.

Example: ask them a question "I am curious about this - do you think..." or

Challenge them: "I wonder if this is correct, I found information that is different. Can you tell me where this information came from?".

Comment "Wow! I never knew that Sami people could do throat singing!! That's so cool".

Ask for more information: "Very interesting Dang! So... if the Didgeridoo is made out of wood, how did it get hollowed out?"
